With many contradictory suggestion from the weight loss industry, women may feel that they are running in circles and as they don’t know who to believe. Everybody is more concerned with proving their theories and claims as facts.

The truth is weigh loss rules differ from person to person. What works for one may not be effective for the other. In this case, one size does not fit all. You need to figure what works for you and it will need some trial and error. You can learn more about losing  weight by following the 3 week diet plan.

You don’t need to worry as it is not tough.

As Leonardo da Vinci said, simplicity is the ultimate sophistication. So you should aim for simple. And this is the biggest secret of weight loss, following the simple concepts.

The first concept is that you must maintain a calorie deficit. It does not matter if you have three large meals a day or twenty seven small meals. As long as you can maintain a calorie deficit, you will lose weight. According to purists, larger meals spike insulin and results in weight gain.

But it does not. You cannot gain weight if you maintain a calorie deficit. The next factor is the metabolic rate. Metabolic rate is higher when you eat smaller meals during the day but eating six small meals is not a practical option for many women as they work or are busy at home.

You must determine the habits that suit your lifestyle. If you have time for one large meal and it fulfills your daily calorie requirement, it is fine. You will lose weight.

The frequency and timing of meal does not matter. Compliance matters. You need to comply with your diet and training program.

If you eat what you should in the adequate proportions, half the work is done. And if you stay true to your exercise program, all the work is done. Your body will lose the fat like it should.

Let’s not make things more complex than necessary. It is called intermittent fasting. You are supposed to eat over a period of 8 hours and fast for the remaining 16 hours. As long as you consume the needed calories within the 8 hours, your body will lose fat effectively.

Intermittent fasting is one of the best ways to lose weight and it dismisses all myths about meal frequencies and timing. People on intermittent fasting program have restricted the eating window to 5 hours and observed faster fat loss.

So, what matters in reality is your calorie intake. Be on a deficit and you are all set. You will lose weight for sure.
